Jesus was mentioned in the Vedic literatures
more than 3000 years before He appeared.

"Having placed the eternally pure and auspicious
form of the Supreme Lord in my heart, O protector of the earth
planet, I preached these principles through the Mlecchas' own
faith and thus my name became 'isha-masiha' (Jesus the Messiah)."

Thus ends the second chapter entitled, "the age of
Salivahara" of the story of Kali Yuga of the Caturyuga Khanda
also called pratisarga-parva of the wonderful Bhavishya Maha

A discussion between Srila Prabhupada (His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada / Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness - ISKCON) and one of his disciple) -- Room Conversation -- April 2, 1977, Bombay

Kåñëa dasa: "What is the difference between
a pure Christian, or at least a sincere one, and a sincere
devotee of Kåñëa?"
Srila Prabhupäda: No
difference.
Tamäla
Kåñëa dasa: He says he read a passage of
the Bhaviñya Mahä-Puräëa written by
Vyäsadeva three thousand years before Christ foretelling
Jesus Christ's presence in the Himalayas in 78 of the Christian
era, and his meeting with King Shalamoyi.(?) Are there any other
prophecies in the Bhaviñya Mahä-Puräëa or
in any other scriptures telling more accurately Jesus Christ's
birthday?
Srila Prabhupäda: Everything is
accurate there.
Tamäla
Kåñëa dasa: In that particular
Puräëa? He says he is sorry to take your very precious
time, and he prays that you answer all of his questions, which
you have done. So he thanks you very much for reading this letter
and for your expected help. He asks one last question in a P.S.,
which I think is practically an important question. He says, "To
practically follow Jesus Christ for a sincere searcher of the
truth who does not recognize and accept the external
manifestations of the Kåñëa consciousness
movement, is it possible to attain love of God?" No.
